First Day!!!!

We had our first day of training the Learning Coaches in Punta Gorda. It was fantastic!!!!

Why? Because we were so lucky to have some extremely talented, positive Belizeans. They quickly engaged as collaborative learners. They were so willing to take risks and surprised us with how strong their passion was for children's learning.

The opening ceremonies were wonderful. Goosebumps formed as Anthony from Teachers For a Better Belize (TFABB) spoke of all of us as a connected web of professionals working together.

The members of the Rotary Club in Punta Gorda received the many donations from Canada and they were so excited to see MEGA books and some laptops. It was like Christmas morning as the Belizean Ministry of Education members opened one box after another.

Greg and Sharmayne (said Jen) were absolutely a phenomenal team. They had a very successful first session with the Learning Coaches. Although they had limited time to plan, they delivered their workshop together seamlessly, as if they have together for years. We were all very suprised at the high level of expertise, passion, and dedication in the room. We feel very lucky to be here.
